ILLUSTRATIONS

Prices listed represent the base price.
A simple background (ex. flat colours, gradients, patterns, shapes, simple scenery) and/or transparent background is included in the base price.Prices will be adjusted proportionate to the complexity.
• Detailed designs and any elements that require additional time (ex. props, alternate expressions, detailed backgrounds) may increase the price.
• For non-human characters, I will discuss the pricing with you further!+90% price per additional character within the same illustration, applied every 4 characters.
• ie. 6 characters, headshot = $60 + $54 + $54 + $54 + $60 + $54.
• This may be decreased if appropriate for the composition (ex. a character is mostly obscured by another).Chibis are fullbody by default, but different crops can be negotiated. Detailed designs will be simplified for chibis.

Sizing Guide

The following guide is a default approximation. Crop may be slightly higher or lower depending on the details of your request and what best suits the composition. If you want a crop that is significantly different, pricing will be adjusted accordingly.

Colouring Style

There are two possible colouring styles. There is no base pricing difference between them - the final price is determined on a case by case basis by individual elements.
You can freely pick between them, or simply let me determine which is more suitable based on your commission concept.Style A / Standard
• Neutral lighting.

Style B / Atmospheric
• Atmospheric lighting.
• Since the approach can vary significantly between pieces, let me know if there's a specific piece I've done that you'd like the colouring to look similar to!

EMOTES

20 USD per emote.
32 USD for two characters in the same emote.Emotes can be of characters, objects, text / including text, etc.
Complex designs will not affect the price - they will be simplified to maintain legibility.448 x 448 pixel size.
They may be used freely for Twitch, Discord, YouTube, etc.I don't offer animated emotes*, but it is OK to have someone else animate an emote I've drawn!
* Exceptions may be made for minimal animations that require only 2-3 frames. Feel free to inquire!

TERMS OF SERVICE

Payment upfront via Paypal invoice after final price has been agreed upon.Completion is expected within 1 month maximum after payment.
• You will be notified ASAP of any circumstances that could result in delays.
• I may work on personal art between commissions - this helps prevent burnout, ensuring the best quality work! Please understand that I am not neglecting your commission and will always complete it within the agreed timeframe.Progress WIPs are guaranteed to be sent for approval when the sketch/lineart is completed. I will also send further WIPs if there are elements I feel need clarification.
• After you have approved a WIP, I am unlikely to accept major revisions to that step (ex. changing part of the pose after you have already approved a pose sketch). In rare cases I may accept it, but only with a fee proportionate to the amount of work that needs to be redone.
• Minor revisions, or revisions that are of my own error (ex. missing a detail that was present in the reference) are free of charge.I will not accept requests for refunds after the lineart has been approved. If a refund is requested prior to this, I will refund proportionate to the amount of work completed.
• If I am unable to complete the commission due to a circumstance on my end, I will refund in full.Commissions are for personal use only unless otherwise discussed.
• You may post the finished artwork on social media, use it for your icon / header / channel or server assets, print it for strictly personal use, etc.
• For commercial use (anything that generates direct profit, such as making it into merch to sell) the price will be 2x the original price. I do not consider emotes or YouTube thumbnails to fall under commercial use.
• You may not use the artwork for AI training or modify it with AI.By default I do NOT publicly post commissions on social media. If I wish to, I will ask for your approval first.
I reserve the right to use the artwork for commission examples, portfolio, etc. Please let me know if you prefer that I do not!Feel free to contact me anytime if you have questions!

i'm a chinese canadian artist from metro vancouver! i mostly draw fanart of my fave characters and i've been doing commissions since 2018.

can i repost, use, or edit your art?

⭕ reposts with credit are OK! as long as there's credit i welcome it, especially if it's somewhere i don't post myself (reddit, facebook, etc).
⭕ using my art for icons/headers is more than welcome (unless it's the same icon as me). credit is appreciated but i don't mind if you don't, just you don't act like you drew it yourself.
❌ do not repost my art without credit.
❌ do not feed my art to AI or modify it with AI. i will block you immediately.
⚠️ please do not edit or modify my art unless you've received my permission first. i will usually give permission as long as there's no ill intent and you aren't repurposing it into other pictures.just ask me if you wish to use my art for other purposes - i typically allow it as long as it's strictly for personal use (no profit is made) and credit is given!if you want to use an artwork that is a commission i've drawn, please seek permission from the original commissioner. i'm fine with it as long as they are.lastly, i'm honoured you'd want to use my art! always happy to see my stuff out there in the wild.

what do you use to draw?

clip studio paint pro version 4 and a wacom bamboo create that's been faithfully chugging along since december of 2012......

i use the default clip studio g-pen & airbrush for everything from sketch to colouring + a bunch of free downloadable brushes from the clip studio asset store for effects.
